N.Y. Lottery: Winner scores $29K with TAKE 5 jackpot-winning ticket
A jackpot-winning TAKE 5 ticket worth more than $29,000 was recently sold in New York state, according to lottery officials.
The New York Lottery announced one top prize-winning ticket worth $29,444.50 was sold for the evening drawing on Sunday, Jan. 5.
It was sold at M&Z Express, located at 969 Bay St., in Rochester.
The winning numbers are: 11, 17, 29, 34, and 38.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. To win the TAKE 5 jackpot, match the five numbers on your ticket to the winning five-number combination drawn. It costs $1 per game to play.
The drawing is broadcast on television twice daily at 2:30 and 10:30 p.m. TAKE 5 players with midday and evening draws on the same ticket must check their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov to determine if they have the winning numbers for the corresponding midday or evening drawing.
