N.Y. Lottery: Winning Powerball tickets sold in NYC
The New York Lottery announced that two third-prize-winning Powerball tickets were sold for the December 21 drawing, each worth $50,000.
One of the lucky tickets was sold at H & Q Lin Inc., located at 626 Courtlandt Ave in the Bronx, while the other was sold at Cards & Gifts Inc., at 2140 Middle Country Road in Centereach, Long Island.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69, with the red Powerball drawn from a separate field of one to 26.
Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
