Natlan world quest list in Genshin Impact
While exploring Natlan, some world quests will appear as blue exclamation marks on your minimap whenever you’re close enough. Visit such a marked spot and look for an NPC with a similar blue symbol above their head; speaking with them should start the quest. Beware that some world quests are hidden, which means they aren’t marked and therefore difficult to find.
While some of Natlan’s quests are impossible to miss, the hidden ones are very difficult to find on your own. To save you some time, our Genshin Impact guide will show you where to find all Natlan world quests.
‘Lost in the Woods’ world quest location
“Lost in the Woods,” the first part of the Between Pledge and Forgettance series, is probably the first world quest you’ll find in Natlan. Upon entering this nation for the first time, coming from the direction of the Desert of Hadramaveth, Paimon will notice a bunch of strange translucent pillars as soon as you pass the first teleport waypoint. Although the pillars have already disappeared, the picture above shows the exact spot. Investigate the pillars to start “Lost in the Woods.”
‘Rite of the Bold’ world quest location
“Rite of the Bold” is the second world quest in the Between Pledge and Forgettance series. Completing “Lost in the Woods” isn’t enough though; you must also complete the full Shadows of the Mountains and Tales of Dreams Plucked from Fire world quest series to start “Rite of the Bold.” Once those are done, go to the teleport waypoint in Children of the Echoes (the passageway in the northeast) and walk onto the hanging bridge, where the quest will begin. If it doesn’t start, try fast-forwarding your in-game time by one or two days.
‘Revelations from the Past’ world quest location
As the third part of the Between Pledge and Forgettance series, “Revelations from the Past” starts automatically after you’ve completed “Rite of the Bold.” A fourth quest will start automatically upon completing Revelations from the Past, but you just need to leave the quest area and speak with Manqu to complete it. This final quest is called “The Road Ahead.”
‘Beneath the Crystal Rock’ world quest location
“Beneath the Crystal Rock” is the first quest in the Shadows of the Mountains series. After completing “Lost in the Woods” and venturing deeper into Natlan, the starting location will be marked on your map. Follow the main road northwest into the Sulfurous Veins (no need to do any climbing), and speak with the NPC named Titu. He’ll be roaming around near the teleport waypoint.
‘Peace to the Slumbering’ world quest location
The second quest in the Shadows of the Mountains series, “Peace to the Slumbering,” will immediately start once you’ve completed “Beneath the Crystal Rock.”
‘Tracer No Tracing’ world quest location
The first part of the Tale of Dreams Plucked from Fire series starts in the cave system beneath the Toyac Springs, marked with a blue icon on your map. Go to the Statue of the Seven in this area and glide down through the hole in the ground, southeast of the Statue. Keep walking through the tunnels until you meet Chikya.
‘Seeker No Finding’ world quest location
The second part of the Tale of Dreams Plucked from Fire series, “Seeker No Finding,” will begin once you’ve completed “Tracer No Tracing.”
‘Feeling Like Fish Today!’ world quest location
“Feeling Like Fish Today!” is part of the In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons hidden world quest collection, which may be completed in any order. To find this unmarked quest, teleport south of the Ancestral Temple, walk along the beach to the west, and look for a small Saurian on a wooden platform. Two exclamation marks will appear above its head as you approach. Interact with this Saurian to start “Feeling Like Fish Today!”
‘Treasures and Collectors’ world quest location
As another unmarked world quest belonging to the In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons collection, “Treasures and Collectors” is well-hidden. Go to the teleport waypoint north of Scions of the Canopy, then glide west and land inside the small camp. Speak with the NPC called Quipia to start this quest.
‘Gifts and Gifts in Return’ world quest location
This is a hidden world quest belonging to the In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons collection. Go to the teleport waypoint in Tepeacac Rise, then glide down to the bottom of the waterfall in the west. Interact with the yellow flame to enter another realm and interact with the Saurian to start “Gifts and Gifts in Return.”
‘Special Friends’ world quest location
Fast-travel to the Statue of the Seven near the Scions of the Canopy and climb the mountain in the west. Approach the Yumkasaur and alpaca duo to start “Special Friends,” the hidden In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons quest.
‘Lights, Kamera, Action!’ world quest location
Go to the Statue of the Seven in the Children of Echoes area and climb to the top of the mountain in the southeast. Investigate the camera to start “Lights, Kamera, Action!”, the hidden In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons quest.
‘Ripe for Trouble’ world quest location
This hidden Natlan quest starts in the Tequemecan Valley. Fast-travel to the teleport waypoint south of the Sulfurous Veins, walk in a straight line east, and drop down into the chasm (location one on the map). Speak with the NPC named Tisoc, who’ll stop you from entering the cave as this requires a ‘Green Pass’. To get the pass, fast-travel to the teleport waypoint in Scions of the Canopy and investigate the nearest wooden crates to obtain a Green-Edged Paper Slip (location two). Return to Tisoc’s location and speak with another NPC who has taken his place; Poca. This will start the “Ripe for Trouble” world quest.
‘Tepetlisaurus Hide-and-Seek’ world quest location
Fast-travel to the teleport waypoint north of the Sulfurous Veins, then walk east to the Saurian gathering spot. Just approach the Saurians to start this In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons world quest.
‘Waiting For Seeds to Sprout’ world quest location
Travel to the Ancient Watchtower Domain, east of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. Climb the wall behind the Domain and approach the molehill to your left. The Saurian will automatically start digging, but nothing will happen yet. Investigate two more molehills in this area to start this In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons world quest.
‘A Saurian Lover’s Ordinary Days’ world quest location
This In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons world quest is located just north of the Scions of the Canopy. Walk southeast from the nearby Statue of the Seven, and once you see the large waterfall, cross to the other side. Approach the person surrounded by Saurians to start the quest.
‘Weighty Wings’ world quest location
This quest from the In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons collection starts on Teticpac Peak. Use the teleport waypoint north of the lake, then walk northeast until you see the building with the greenish, pointy roof. Defeat the enemies in the camp and interact with the wounded Saurian to start “Weighty Wings.”
‘Lies and Promises’ world quest location
Enter the cave system below Teticpac Peak and talk to the Yumkasauri in the northeastern part to start this In the Footsteps of the Chosen of Dragons world quest. It’s just a short walk from the underground teleport waypoint, but if you haven’t been there yet, you can easily enter the cave system by gliding down from Teticpac Peak.
‘The Case of the Crafting Bench’ world quest location
Teleport to the waypoint east of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame and take the path to the left. Make sure you choose the outer ring – as far left as you can. Between the colorful stalls, find the crafting bench (small gray pillar) and interact with it to start this quest.
‘To Wish Upon a Star’ world quest location
Starting from the teleport waypoint northeast of the Ancestral Temple, walk in a straight line east until you reach the large crater. When you’re close enough, a blue world quest marker will appear. Speak with the boy standing next to the hole in the ground to start this quest.
‘Stride on Rainbows, Split the Waves’ world quest location
This Natlan quest begins on one of the Toyac Springs islands. Go to the one directly south of Teticpac Peak, and walk to the northwestern shore. Speak with the NPC near the colorful decorations – a blue quest marker will pop up once you’re close enough.
‘To the Night, What is the Night’s’ world quest location
This standalone hidden Natlan quest is quite difficult to unlock. First, travel to the heart of the Ancestral Temple area and look south; see the sealed door below you? You must find three Courier’s Trial Keystones to open it.
- For the first Keystone, drop down to the platform in the north, transform into a Yumkasauri, pick up the small yellow orb, and shoot it through the yellow mirror.
- For the second Keystone, drop down to the platform east of the teleport waypoint and pick up the green orb while in Yumkasauri form (next to the stone door). Shoot it through the red mechanism, which will fire a red orb, and pull the door handle next to the stone door immediately after. The red orb will hit its target and you will get a chest with a Keystone.
- For the third Keystone, drop down to the lower platform in the west, take on Yumkasauri form again, and hit the yellow mechanism one time. Pick up the small blue orb, shoot it through the yellow mechanism, and immediately hit the mechanism again. Once the orb hits its target, you’ll get a chest with the third Keystone.
With the three Keystones in your pocket, approach the sealed door to trigger a cutscene and start To the Night, What is the Night’s.
‘Toward Red-Hot Adventure!’ world quest location
This Natlan world quest automatically unlocks after completing Archon Quest Chapter 5, Act 1: Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame. Just have a chat with Katheryne of the Adventurers’ Guild in Stadium of the Sacred Flame to complete it. Doing so will unlock Natlan’s Daily Commissions.
And that concludes this overview of Natlan world quests in Genshin Impact. If you’re keen to work on your reputation in other regions as well, we’ve got a Fontaine world quest list and Sumeru world quest list to help you out.
