Under the direction of Cheryl Woldseth, the 60-member Nevada County Concert Band invites you to our summer concert series at Nevada City’s Pioneer Park bandshell with toe-tapping marches, familiar movie music, pop song classics, amazing soloists, and much more This summer’s themes will tour us through the elements:
• Sunday, June 23 “Earth”
• Sunday, August 25 “Fire & Water”
Invite your friends, family, neighbors, and clubs to meet you at the park for musical fun with your hometown band. The concerts are free, open to the public, accessible, and perfect for families. Dogs on leashes are welcome. Carry in your picnic dinner, or treat yourself from the hot dog and ice cream vendors. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, and enjoy a wonderful musical evening at the park.
All park concerts are 5:00 — 6:30 p.m. at Pioneer Park’s bandshell in Nevada City. Cash donations are accepted during the concerts, and online donations can be made any time through our website’s PayPal link.
