Nevada’s World, Lewis enter transfer portal

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Nevada offensive tackle Isaiah World and quarterback Brendon Lewis have entered the transfer portal.

World and Lewis were recently named as honorable mentions to the All-Mountain West team.

Lewis, a Colorado transfer, threw for 2,290 yards and 16 touchdowns in the 2024 season.

World, meanwhile, has started 35 games over the last three seasons, and allowed just five pressures on 425 pass block snaps this season.

The portal opened on Monday, allowing 750 FBS players to transfer schools.

Quarterback Chubba Purdy, brother of San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Brock, previously announced his intention to transfer from Nevada last week.
