New concert venue Globe Iron kicks off in May with marquee acts on Flats’ West Bank
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Make way for a new live event venue, Cleveland!
AEG Presents and Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. have announced the inaugural concert lineup for their new live event space called Globe Iron. The new “multi-purpose event venue” features a 1,200-capacity indoor concert hall space and a courtyard for outdoor entertainment. It will open in May 2025.
Located at 2325 Elm St. on the West Bank of the Flats, the building was once home to the Globe Iron Works Foundry, which was built in 1853. The former foundry has been rehabilitated into a performance venue, while retaining the landmark’s hard-working charm.
AEG Presents will operate and exclusively book the venue with an eye on “bringing an additional 150 events to the city,” according to the joint AEG Presents/Jacobs Entertainment press release.
Globe Iron will host its grand opening with a hefty schedule of marquee acts including UK post-punk legends The Damned, roots rocker Shakey Graves, CLE costumed alt-metal vets Mushroomhead, UK indie rockers Panchiko, singer-songwriter MJ Lenderman and Aussie psych-garage band Osees.
