New dairy facility in Hugoton to create 100 new jobs, investing $90M
HUGOTON, Kan. (KWCH) – A global food company is set to bring 100 new jobs and a $90 million investment to a small southwest Kansas town.
Governor Laura Kelly announced earlier this month that Flora Food Group purchased a manufacturing facility in Hugoton.
The facility will be the hub for Flora Food Group’s creams and cream cheese products for the United States, Canada, and the rest of the Americas region over time.
Including this Hugoton site, Flora Food Group, formerly known as Upfield Group, has 15 owned sites across five continents, manufacturing over 90% of the products it sells.
