New dance and fitness studio offers aerial silks and bungee fitness
Jaydene Lee Paddock, 29, from Newport, officially opened the studio in October, at 52 Dodnor Lane.
Friends, family, and both current and former students attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Jaydene has been passionate about dance since she was three, mastering ballet, jazz, modern, tap, and Irish dancing.
She further honed her skills at the University of Chichester, where she developed a love for contemporary dance.
Jaydene now specialises in teaching contemporary dance, holding both a degree in dance and choreography and a National Association of Teachers of Dancing diploma in contemporary dance.
At university, she discovered aerial silks, a skill she has since expanded upon, becoming qualified to teach aerial silks, aerial yoga, and bungee fitness.
She said her school was the first to introduce these activities to the Isle of Wight.
Since 2018, Jaydene Lee Arts has been offering dance and circus skills across the Island, but her new studio allows her to house all her classes in one location for the first time.
Jaydene Lee Arts offers classes in contemporary dance, bungee fit, aerial yoga, and aerial silks, as well as workshops, parties, and private sessions.
