New Leaked Renders Give Us the Best Look of the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold

Another day, another Google Pixel leak. In the lead-up to Google’s upcoming hardware event on August 13, the info’s been coming at a steady drip, whether it’s Google releasing a teaser video or tantalizing info from some of the more reliable leakers. The star of today’s leak is the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold. 91 Mobiles reports that Steve Hemmerstoffer, otherwise known as Onleaks, a reputable leaker on X, revealed more of the foldable’s design and colorways.

According to Hemmerstoffer, the Fold will be available in two colors: Porcelain and Obsidian. If the rendered shots are, in fact, the real deal, we see the phone has rounded corners, which should make for a better grip.

The cover screen, or Actua Front, measures 6.3 inches, while the inner panel, or Super Actua Flex display, comes in at 8 inches. Both measurements are larger than the OG Fold. A small punch-hole cutout for a webcam is at the top of the inner screen. Thankfully, the bezels don’t look too chunky.

The render of the rear panel reveals a pair of ovular modules for the camera sensors and flash housed within a square model. An earlier leak suggests the Pro Fold will have a 48MP main camera, a 10.5MP ultrawide shooter, and a 10.8MP telephoto sensor. But that won’t be substantiated until the upcoming event.

I’m curious how prominent the crease in the foldable’s main display will or won’t be. The first Fold’s crease was rather prominent, which can really mar the viewing experience. Hopefully, Google has found a way to remedy the situation in its latest crack at a foldable phone.
