In a switch from the traditional Mountain League and Ocean League format, most Central Coast Athletic Association (CCAA) teams will be divided among three leagues for the 2024 fall sports season.
Most CCAA sports consisted of the Mountain, Sunset and Ocean Leagues during the 2023-24 spring season, and most CCAA sports will follow suit in the 2024-25 fall campaign.
There will be Mountain and Ocean Leagues only for CCAA boys and girls cross country, and boys and girls water polo teams.
All other CCAA fall teams will be placed in the Mountain, Sunset or Ocean League.
In the three leagues format, the Mountain League is considered the highest level of the three, the Sunset the middle and the Ocean the lowest. Here is a league breakdown, by sport, for CCAA fall athletic teams.
