New projects in Butler County expected to create 155 jobs
CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted have announced the approval of six projects poised to create hundreds of new jobs across the state, with millions of dollars in payroll. Two of these projects are set to take place in Butler County.
During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) reviewed economic development proposals presented by JobsOhio and its regional partners.
Hit Promotional Products, Inc. and Profill Fulfillment, LLC are expected to create 100 full-time-equivalent positions in the city of Fairfield, generating $4.8 million in new payroll. This development is part of the company’s new location project in Fairfield. It will build an 800,000-square-foot facility at the corner of Tylersville and Seward roads. Hit Promotional Products specializes in fulfillment, logistics, and branding, offering solutions for sourcing, decorating, warehousing, and distributing branded merchandise and apparel. The TCA has approved a 1.266%, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
In the city of Hamilton, Wulco, Inc. plans to create 55 full-time-equivalent positions, resulting in $2.78 million in new payroll due to the company’s expansion project. Wulco, Inc. provides precision machining, fabrication, welding, and quality assurance services for the defense, aerospace, and oil and gas industries. Operating as CIMA Packaging, the company also offers innovative packaging solutions that comply with federal requirements and standards. The TCA has approved a 1.156%, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
