The Birmingham restaurateurs behind NOLA Ice-Broad St Peaux Boys at the Pizitz Food Hall are opening a new sports bar in Homewood.

Kelli Caulfield and London Jackson plan to open “Do Not Disturb” an elevated sports bar located just off Lakeshore Parkway near Lowe’s at 350 State Farm Parkway.

Creative New Orleans-inspired dishes

Filled with TV’s, the new space will be the perfect place to sit back and watch games, have a beer or cocktail and enjoy creative and eclectic dishes.

For example, where can you find these culinary inventions in The Magic City?

  • Lobster Corndog
  • Trash Can Charcuterie (fried pickles, pimento cheese topped with bacon jam, fried pork rinds, collard green and artichoke dip, and their signature sausage chunks)
  • Baby Shower Plate – (your choice of boneless chicken tenders or wings, DND crawfish queso and chips, meatballs, pasta salad and chicken salad)
  • Fried lemon pepper ribs
  • Oyster BLT topped with their signature Broad St Accents Remoulade Sauce
  • Crawfish Grilled Cheese and Crawfish Nachos
  • Wide variety of burgers

The menu will also include NOLA Ice-Broad St Peaux Boys New Orleans inspired catfish and shrimp platters.

Why the name “Do not Disturb?”

In an interview with Bham Now, we asked Caulfield why the name  “Do Not Disturb for the establishment?

With a chuckle, she told us what it meant:

“Do Not Disturb while I am drinking this beer. Do Not Disturb while I’m eating this burger and eating these wings. Do Not Disturb while I’m watching this game. It is a comfortable place for all sports lovers, especially men during football season, to come in and watch the game, not be disturbed, but to have a great time!”
