The Dallas Cowboys are reeling. They’re 27th in total defense and in the middle of the pack in total offense, and that’s not likely to get better with Dak Prescott potentially out for the year with a hamstring injury and Cooper Rush starting in his place. All of that turmoil seems like the worst possible time (if you’re a Cowboys fan), or perhaps the best possible time (if you’re an Eagles fan) for a visit from the hated rivals from Philadelphia.
Almost quietly, the Eagles are off to a 6-2 start led in part by Saquon Barkley. He can’t seem to stop turning in ridiculous highlights and is on pace for more than 1,900 yards rushing and well over 2,300 scrimmage yards. While those lofty heights are still to be determined, he’s coming off a 199-total-yard, two-touchdown effort. Oh, and Jalen Hurts is second in the NFL in rushing touchdowns and is among the league leaders in passer rating.
Elsewhere in the late window, the Los Angeles Chargers will host the Tennessee Titans and the Arizona Cardinals will host the New York Jets.

Would it even be an Eagles game if Jalen Hurts didn’t score a ‘Tush Push” touchdown?
This is career rushing touchdown No. 50 (yes, you read that correctly, Jalen Hurts has 50 rushing touchdowns in 71 career NFL games over five seasons) and his 9th rushing score of this season which is good for second in the NFL this season.

The red stripe on the helmet was first used to commemorate the United States’ bicentennial in 1976, and the club has broken them out occasionally in recent seasons. Dallas wore them last year as a part of the NFL’s ‘Salute to Service’ celebrations on Nov. 12.
