NFL season coming up, sports betters excited

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – The NFL football season is less than a month away, kicking off on Thursday, Sept. 5th.

This is great news for those who enjoy sports betting.

In 2021, sports betting was legalized in Deadwood and is now available at select casinos and resorts.

Dale’s Sportsbook is one of the biggest sportsbooks in Deadwood, located inside Deadwood Mountain Grand.

Tyler Nold is their casino manager and says he is beyond excited to start preparing for the season.

“NFL and football in general, they’re king for sports gambling. Sports wagering loves football: our customers love football, so we are getting ready for that; we have actually added some staff in the sports book because of football coming up,” said Nold.

Dales Sportsbook isn’t the only place to put your bets. Sports betting is also available in Deadwood at Cadillac Jack’s, Gold Dust, Tin Lizzie, Landmark, and The Lodge.
