Nick Chubb out for rest of season with broken foot

After returning from a devastating knee injury, Nick Chubb’s 2024 season will also end prematurely.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced after the game that Chubb suffered a broken foot during Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs.

Chubb suffered the injury in the second half of the game. Stefanski said he thinks Chubb got stepped on.

“Well, I think with Nick, the fact that — I’ve told you guys this before, but I have gotten to have a first-row seat to what he’s been able to do. I can’t tell you how much I respect him as a person, what he means to this football team,” Stefanski said. “So, really, really disappointed about this injury. Does not change the fact that he continues to inspire this football team with how he approaches every single day. And I know this is just another obstacle that he will overcome.”

Chubb entered Sunday with 291 yards and three touchdowns in seven games this season. He added 41 yards on nine carries during the loss to Kansas City.
