No. 19 Pack Travels to William & Mary For Final Non-Conference Meeting – NC State University Athletics
RALEIGH, N.C. – 19th-ranked NC State men’s soccer hits the road for its last non-conference meeting of the regular season with William & Mary on Wednesday evening. Kick-off from Martin Family Stadium in Williamsburg, Va. is set for 5 p.m.

• Wednesday’s match marks the 13th meeting between the Wolfpack and the Tribe. In those 13 dates, the two teams are deadlocked in scoring 16-16.
• The most recent game in the series was in 2022 in Raleigh where the Pack came away with a 2-1 victory.
• Three games in the series had to be played into overtime (2013, 2017, and 2018).

• The Wolfpack entered the week three and four rankings (United Soccer Coaches Poll) at No. 24 and No. 18, respectively, for the first time since the 2019 season. After tying No. 2 Stanford and No. 24 Virginia Tech both on the road it rejoined the rankings at 23rd in the nation on Oct. 15 and bumped up to No. 19 on Oct. 22 after a 1-1 draw with No. 21 Hofstra and 5-1 win over No. 10 SMU.
• NC State was picked to finish 11th in a competitive Atlantic Coast Conference that features five of the nation’s preseason top 10 teams.
• After week nine of the season and seven weeks into conference play, the Pack lands at ninth in the ACC standings.
• The ACC holds seven teams ranked nationally in the top-25 (No. 3 Clemson, No. 5 Pitt, No. 7 Stanford, No. 10 Duke, No. 11 North Carolina, No. 19 NC State, and No. 21 SMU)
• The Wolfpack earned a victory in their first ACC game by a 2-1 score on Sept. 6th at home. It marked the first-ever game for any Cal sport to play as a member of the ACC.
• A 7-0 win over Winthrop in Raleigh marked the first time the program has scored seven goals since September of 1996.
• Taig Healy was named to the USL2 Team of the Year from his time with the Seacoast United Phantoms over the summer.
• Goalkeeper, Logan Erb, was named an ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 8 after shutting out No. 2 Stanford on the road and recording five saves in the game.
• Posted an impressive 5-1 win over No. 10 SMU at home to record the first ranked win of the Marc Hubbard era. This was the first top-10 win for the program since Oct. of 2018.

• Midfielder, Taig Healy is ranked 10th in the ACC in shots with 34 total taken and a 2.62 shot per game average.
• Goalkeeper, Enzo Carvalho is fourth in the ACC in saves with a save percentage average of .750, is seventh in goals against average with 1.045, and sixth in saves per game with an average of 3.00.
