Police say there were no injuries or reports of property damage after officers responded to a shots fired call in Columbia Wednesday evening.
According to a news release from the Columbia Police Department, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1200 block of West Business Loop 70 around 7:50 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say witnesses saw a suspect firing a gun over the top of a silver sedan from the rear passenger-side window. Officers found evidence of gunfire at the scene, according to the news release.
The news release did not name any suspects.
