No Twins games on cable

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) – Minnesota Twins games are not being aired on Midco.

Midco is displaying a message saying, “The owner of Bally Sports is in bankruptcy proceedings and has declined several options to allow us to continue carrying their networks. As a result, Midco no longer has the rights to carry their content.”

The Twins don’t have anything to do with the disagreement.

Social media posts by Midco say the cable company will “…keep trying to reach an agreement with Bally Sports, but only with fair terms and conditions that make sense for our customers.”

Midco also said in a statement: “We are disappointed an agreement could not be reached with Diamond Sports Group, the owner of Bally Sports 15 regional sports networks. With the Twins on a nine-game winning streak, it’s disappointing that Diamond Sports has declined multiple offers, and we no longer have rights to Bally Sports North programming. We want to reach an agreement that is fair to our customers.”

The Twins have won nine straight games and play the White Sox on Wednesday afternoon.
