ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) – Central Louisiana Society for Human Resource Management (CLSHRM) gave Cenla residents the opportunity to look for their next job. The 2024 Spring Job Fair was held at the Randolph Riverfront Center on Tuesday (May 21).

It gave job-seekers the chance to meet face-to-face with leading employers in the region. Some employers at the fair were RoyOMartin, Cleco, Crest Industries and Rapides Regional Medical Center.

“The thought of this was back in 2015, because there wasn’t a job fair like this in our area, and we didn’t have anything in the community that brought all employers together like this job fair,” said Workforce Development Chair Jeff Ryen. “So we have 27 employers that are here today and that is a normal amount of employers that show up. We have big companies and small companies that are here.”

CLSHRM is a non-profit organization designed to serve the needs of human resources and other business professionals within their community.
