Nothing is stopping anyone from working in non-union jobs | PennLive letters

Mark Mix, president of the National Right to Work Committee, is all in for freeloading off the negotiating skills and benefits of organized labor. If one does not want to pay union dues, there are plenty of non-union jobs out there. Just, simply, put applications in with companies who do not have organized labor.

You see, working jobs with great wages, great health care, vacation and sick leave time, are jobs that have benefits, most likely, negotiated by organized labor. We all, for the most part, have the right to make choices for one’s self. If a person is extremely opposed to working under a union-negotiated contract, exercise your right to find another job.

Union-busting organizations are appendages of corporations. They pretend to represent the best interests of working-class people, when in fact, they are merely wolves in sheep’s clothing.
