Of Course, Sheer Styles Are Trending on Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024 Red Carpet

Sheer looks have been trending on the red carpet throughout the year, from the Met Gala to the Emmys to the Oscars. Of course, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday in New York was the event that brought some of the most sheer style statements of 2024.

There were sexy, barely-there looks like model Valentina Ferrer’s outfit, and there were ethereal style statement like Lisa’s flowy, floor-length cape. There were also subtle uses of sheer material, like makeup artist and influencer Patrick Ta’s shirt and glove that teased a hint of bare skin.

Here, a closer look at some of the sheer moments on the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show red carpet.

Coco Jones

Grammy winner Coco Jones chose a demure sheer look with a black floor-length lace gown that gave a tease of her black bra and black underwear.

Lisa

Lisa of Blackpink arrived on the pink carpet with a lace black cape that flowed down to the floor. The sheer fabric was embroidered with silver celestial and floral patterns, and the full ensemble archival piece was from the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Lisa is one of three women performers at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024.

Cher

Music icon Cher, who is also performing for the show, wore a see-through chain-link-patterned Off-White bodysuit underneath a long black blazer, showing just a glimpse of her black lace bra underneath.

Angel Reese

Chicago Sky basketball player Angel Reese wore a red, long-sleeved, see-through dress over a gray slip. The gown had a criss-cross stitch, cut-outs on the shoulders and a sparkly, beaded fringe.

Madison Bailey

“Outer Banks” actress Madison Bailey wore a chocolate brown gown with a sheer, floral-patterned corset top and sheer skirt that flowed down to the floor.

Jodie Turner-Smith

“Tron: Ares” actress Jodie Turner-Smith wore a black sheer lingerie corset underneath a forest green overcoat, as well as black sheer thigh-length stockings and black pumps.

Jordyn Woods

Jordyn Woods walked the pink carpet in a long-sleeved sheer black gown that featured swirls of black ribbons down the floor-length skirt.

Patrick Ta

Makeup artist and beauty brand founder Patrick Ta wore a sleek sheer shirt under his cream-colored suit and accessorized it with a sheer white gloves.

Valentine Ferrer

Valentina Ferrer wore a see-through black slip dress with floral lace patterns, over her black bra and black underwear. The model accessorized her look with a black choker, chunky black statement boots and a black leather jacket by her side.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned Tuesday evening in its original live format after a six-year hiatus. The runway show airs on Prime Video and the brand’s YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok channels Beloved Angels like Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio, Liu Wen and Taylor Hill are set to make much-anticipated appearances alongside newer Angels.
