Ohio State throttles previously undefeated Indiana

The questions about Indiana were answered on Saturday, not in the way the Hoosiers wanted.

Ohio State scored 31 straight points after falling behind 7-0 and went on to clobber the previously undefeated Hoosiers, 38-15.

The Buckeyes are 10-1 as are the Hoosiers. Both schools are 7-1 in the Big Ten with Ohio State’s romp putting it in a strong position to face Oregon in the Big Ten Championship Game.

The Buckeyes have already beaten Penn State and only have Michigan in front of them to clinch a spot in the conference title game. They have lost three in a row to the Wolverines.

Indiana coach Curt Cignetti did not look please with Ohio State’s Ryan Day at the end of the game.

The Buckeyes’ WIll Howard scored a touchdown with 35 seconds left when the game was well out of reach.

Cignetti had opted not to use either of his two remaining timeouts.

Ryan Day on the late TD: “We wanted to finish the right way and make sure everyone knows, it’s the Ohio State Buckeyes.”
