Olivia Rodrigo’s Most Recent No. 1 Hit Returns In Spectacular Fashion
Olivia Rodrigo just wrapped her Guts World Tour, which supported her sophomore album of the same name. The singer-songwriter traveled around the globe performing smashes from both of her full-lengths, and the trek was a huge commercial success. As her fans wait to hear what’s next for the actress and musician, those who live in one country are returning to one of her biggest wins, making it a hit all over again.
“Vampire” is a smash once more in the United Kingdom this week. The tune returns to one chart and rises on two more, which shows that the cut is a certified sales win again, and in several ways.
Impressively, even though it’s more than a year old—almost a year and a half old, at this point—“Vampire” is still living inside the top 40 on all three U.K.-based charts it appears on at the moment. It narrowly manages that feat on the Official Singles Sales list, where it’s back at No. 39.
Coincidentally, “Vampire” lands in the same position on the other two U.K. rankings it sits on this frame. Rodrigo’s hit ascends from No. 12 to No. 6 on both the Official Physical Singles and Official Vinyl Singles charts, finding its way back to the top 10 on multiple tallies at once.
“Vampire” is one of Rodrigo’s biggest hits, and it’s her most recent No. 1 in the U.K. The tune reached the summit of the list of the most-consumed songs in the country when it was brand new, in the summer of 2023. Since then, the cut has remained a favorite, and clearly British fans are still eager to buy the composition.
At the moment, “Vampire” is Rodrigo’s only charting single across the pond. Both of the albums she’s released during her still-short career are present on several rankings, though their performance is something of a mixed bag.
“Vampire” served as the lead single from Rodrigo’s sophomore album Guts, which dropped in mid-2023. That set is living on three charts in the U.K., and it falls on one, holds steady on another, and even manages to climb on a third, the Official Physical Albums list (up from No. 57 to No. 42). Sour, her first full-length, slides back on one tally, is comfortable on the Official Albums Streaming roster (one rung behind the also stationary Guts), and returns to the Official Physical Albums chart, where it reappears at No. 81.
