Olton business expanding with new location in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Fleurish Flowers and Gifts started as a flower shop in Olton in 2012 and quickly grew into the selling clothing and accessories.

“A few years in, we started selling things on Facebook and that kind of snowballed into a website, like an e-commerce platform that really kind of took off,” co-founder Andrew Rejino said.

Now, nearly 13-years later, Rejino, and co-owner Kailey Harriss, say they’re ready to show Lubbockites what they have to offer.

“We kind of evolved and grew into getting a different customer base out of all areas,” Harriss said, “and the main customer base out of Lubbock, we started to get a lot of customers from Lubbock to see us at our Olton location and then shopping with us a lot online. Kind of always wanted to do something fun and kind of challenge ourselves and we felt like Lubbock was a great place to be.”

This second location, named Fleurish Clothing and Gifts located near 82nd and Milwaukee, is working to get everyone ready for the holiday season.

“We offer a little bit of everything,” Harriss said. “Of course, this time of year, we’re gonna open up some great Christmas items. We do some women’s clothing, accessories, shoes. We have a touch of home decor that we have as well. We really love one-of-a-kind different, girly, fun pieces.”

Both owners say at the end of the day, they’re here for the customer, because they care about the quality they receive the moment they walk into their store.

“Even though this is a small business, we’ve always kept the customers as our number one priority in everything that we do,” Rejino said. “That’s our biggest goal is to make sure that every experience is a positive one.”

They’re excited to see some old and new faces this weekend, and hope that everyone walks out of their business – flourishing.

“Oh my goodness, it’s gonna feel so good,” Rejino said. “We’ve been through this process for several months now and it has felt like a long, long, long journey. We’re excited to be towards the end and get the doors open and ready for people to shop.”

The grand opening of Fleurish Clothing and Gifts is at 10 a.m. on Saturday at 804 Pontiac Ave.
