Start Time – 1:00 PM EST

The first thing you need to know about Olympic soccer is that you won’t see too many “household names” on the rosters, as this is an Under 23 competition to avoid conflicts with FIFA and the World Cup. Still, the “usual suspects” countries are normally also strongest at the U23 level as well.

Heading into France, Ukraine is ranked around the middle of the 16 team men’s Olympic field, while Iraq is near the bottom. Yet, we’re getting a nice number on the Ukraine squad for the kickoff game tomorrow against Iraq.
