Oneplus 13 Official Teaser: The OnePlus 13 is anticipated to launch in China this October, following the release of its predecessor, the OnePlus 12, in January earlier this year. Recently, a senior OnePlus official teased the design of the upcoming flagship’s front, adding to the excitement surrounding its release. While the OnePlus 12 featured a 6.82-inch BOE X1 display, the OnePlus 13 is rumored to introduce significant upgrades, including a revamped camera module and the possibility of a premium vegan leather finish, as hinted by previous leaks.

OnePlus 13: Display, Features (Expected)

OnePlus has hinted at the upcoming OnePlus 13, which is set to feature a second-generation BOE “oriental screen” known as the BOE X2. Louis Lee, the head of OnePlus China, shared a post on Weibo announcing that the screen has successfully passed outdoor lighting tests and is expected to outperform the previous BOE X1 display. Additionally, leaks indicate that the OnePlus 13 could sport a 6.82-inch 2K 10-bit LTPO BOE X2 micro quad curved OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, along with options for up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

The OnePlus 13 is rumored to feature a revamped camera module, with leaked images of a protective case hinting at a new layout for the rear camera units, though the exact shape of the module remains unclear. Additionally, reports suggest that the device may have a vegan leather finish, in contrast to the OnePlus 12, which has a circular camera module and a glass back. These design changes indicate a fresh aesthetic direction for the upcoming flagship model.

For optics, the OnePlus 13 is expected to carry a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 primary sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, a 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom. The device may also support reverse charging, 100W wired fast charging, and come equipped with a substantial 6,000mAh battery.
