Onslow County business pitch contest open for entries

ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Have you always dreamed about starting your own business? Now is your chance! A business pitch contest in Eastern Carolina is now open for entries.

According to the Coastal Carolina Community College Small Business Center, Pitch It! Onslow is an Onslow County initiative that allows residents to submit pitches for new businesses in the area.

The contest will remain open through December 9th.

Coastal says they are collaborating with Marine Federal Credit Union and the Jacksonville Onslow Chamber of Commerce to support local entrepreneurs in Onslow County.

According to the community college, “the program offers a unique opportunity to learn the skills necessary to launch a business, build a business plan and pitch deck, present business ideas, and compete for unrestricted startup funds provided by Marine Federal Credit Union to the winners.”
