Openings available for upcoming YMCA youth summer sports camps
MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – The YMCA of Marquette County has openings for upcoming youth summer camps.
Different camps are being offered to a variety of age groups.
Kids can participate in flag football, swimming, and volleyball camps, or they can try a new sport each week in mixed sports camps.
The YMCA’s Sports and Aquatics Director, Tyler Kellam, said the organization wants to help people try new things.
“If you’re not sure if your kid likes flag football or if your kid wants to be a swimmer, you can get them in at a fairly affordable price. We do have, you know, financial aid available,” Kellam said. “We don’t take things super intensely, so you know, we welcome newcomers and people who haven’t played that sport before to come in and try things out.”
