Orange Park Mall: See vintage photos of Jacksonville-area shopping mall

Opened in 1975, Orange Park Mall is the Jacksonville area’s second-oldest indoor shopping mall.

At 953,000 square feet, the mall is smaller than Regency Square Mall (1.3 million square feet, opened in 1967) and The Avenues (1.1 million square feet, opened in 1990). Its original anchor stores included Ivey’s (now Dillard’s), May Cohen’s (now Belk) and Sears (which closed in 2020). JCPenney joined the mall in a 1984 expansion and Dick’s Sporting Goods was added in 2006.

Today it has more than 110 stores, including Old Navy, Books-A-Million and the AMC Orange Park 24. Its food court includes Pei Wei Express, Popeye’s Chicken, Sbarro, Charley’s Philly Steaks and more.
