OU football: Time, TV channel, details for Sooners’ matchup vs. Mississippi

Oklahoma (4-3, 1-3) SEC will travel to play No. 18 Mississippi (5-2, 1-2 SEC) at Vaught Hemingway Stadium in Oxford on Saturday. 

OU is looking to bounce back after falling 35-9 to South Carolina, losing its second consecutive game. The matchup against Mississippi will mark the first contest of the season that offensive coordinator Joe John Finley will be making the play calls in the wake of former co-offensive coordinator Seth Littrell’s firing

Mississippi is coming off an overtime 29-26 loss to No. 8 LSU (6-1, 3-0 SEC), and also beat South Carolina 27-3 the week prior. Both teams are looking for their second SEC win of the season. 

Oklahoma and Mississippi have played only once, in 1999 at the Independence Bowl. Mississippi won 27-25.
