Our Town Oelwein: Williams Wellness Center

OELWEIN, Iowa (KCRG) – A fitness and recreation facility in Our Town Oelwein will mark its 22nd anniversary in November.

The Williams Wellness Center offers fitness classes, gym space, weight lifting and sports leagues.

The center’s director, Jessica Burkhart, says the facility is for people of all ages, with some members in their 90s.

It’s for people living in Oelwein and the surrounding communities.

”We’re membership based. You can still come in and buy a daily rate. We have a little over 1500 members,” said Burkhart.

The Williams Wellness Center offers a SLAM (Sweat Like a Mother) class where people can bring their kids and a Silver Sneakers class for seniors.
