When does the Oura Ring Boxing Day sale start?
Boxing Day might fall on December 26, but the sale on the Oura Ring website has started already.
Since the Oura Ring 4 was released in October, the Oura Ring 3 has been marked down several times, so if you didn’t manage to pick one up in the Oura Ring Black Friday sale, you have another chance in the Oura Ring Boxing Day sale.
You can shop now and select next-day delivery to receive the discounted Oura Ring before Christmas if you’re looking for the perfect gift for fitness lovers.
The sale will be running for a while, most likely through to the new year, so you can always use your Christmas gift money to purchase an Oura Ring in the sale you previously had your eyes on.
We’d also recommend looking at the Oura Ring pages at John Lewis and Amazon around December 26, as their Boxing Day sales will go live then.
Regardless of where you plan on shopping, always compare prices to ensure you get the best possible deal on an Oura Ring.
I tried the Oura Ring and these are my honest thoughts
Aaron Dowler, our Stategic Partnerships Lead has put his Oura Ring through its paces over the last 12 months and here is his verdict…
- Pros: Accurate and unevasive sleep and health tracking, stylish, good battery life
- Cons: The ring can scratch easily when weight training
I have been wearing the Oura Ring Gen 3 for well over a year now and it has been a game-changer for my sleep and health tracking.
I don’t like feeling restrained while sleeping so I could never get on with an Apple Watch to track.
Oura allows me to track over 20 biometrics like resting heart rate, heart rate variability and temperature changes. This means that I can optimise and make changes to my sleep and wellness routine and then see almost in real time the effect those changes have made on my biometrics.
The stress tracking function is truly humbling and it’s made me take a step back and look at my stress levels from a macro perspective.
It’s encouraged me to take up activities like meditation and yoga to try and bring my stress levels down to a more human level.
It’s the first thing I look at when I wake up and my hand feels like it’s missing a finger when I don’t wear it!

When will the Oura Ring sale end?
We can’t say for certain how long the deals will last, but there seems to be a push to clear the Oura Ring 3 now that the Oura Ring 4 has been released.
The sale is most likely dependent on stock levels, so discounts could run into the New Year if enough Oura Ring 3s are available.
Bear in mind that the Amazon, John Lewis and the official Oura Ring sales might end at different times, so it’s worth shopping around before making your purchase.
Traditionally, a Boxing Day sale would run until December 31st and there would be a separate sale in January, but they tend to merge these days.
That’s good news for shoppers who haven’t made up their minds, giving them time to make considered purchases.
How much does an Oura Ring cost?
In the Oura Ring Boxing Day sale, the Oura Ring 3 starts at £249 on the Oura Ring website.
However, they normally start at £349, depending on what colour you choose.
The gold and rose gold Oura Ring 3s are usually £499 and £549 respectively, although we’ve spotted them reduced to £349 on the Oura Ring website.
That means if you’re after a rose gold Oura Ring 3, you’ll be saving £200 if you buy it during the Oura Ring Boxing Day sale on the Oura Ring website.
The Oura Ring 4, which can be bought in the Oura Ring store or John Lewis, is currently priced from £349 for the black and silver design with the gold and rose gold options available for £499.
In the middle are the matte colours – brushed silver and stealth black – which are both £399.
What exactly does the Oura Ring do?
The Oura Ring is a sleek wearable device designed to track and improve health, fitness, and sleep.
It is worn like a traditional ring, usually on your index or middle finger, and is comfortable for all-day wear, including when you’re sleeping.
Inside the ring are sensors that sit next to your skin to monitor key health metrics such as heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), respiratory rate, body temperature, and movement.
These provide accurate insights into sleep stages (light, deep, and REM), sleep quality, and total sleep duration.
Additionally, the ring tracks daily activity levels, steps, calories burned, and periods of inactivity, promoting a more balanced lifestyle.
The Oura app, paired with the ring, compiles and analyses the collected data to provide personalised insights and recommendations through three key scores: Readiness, Sleep, and Activity.
The Readiness Score helps users understand their recovery and readiness for physical or mental exertion, while the Sleep Score identifies areas to optimise rest and the Activity Score encourages meeting movement goals.
Where to buy Oura Ring in the UK?
There are three official Oura Ring retailers in the UK – John Lewis, Amazon and the Oura Ring website.
The Oura Ring online store offers the most variety of models and sizes to suit your preferences.
However, John Lewis and Amazon usually have most of the colour options.
All retailers sell sizing kits, which we recommend you buy before purchasing a ring if you can’t try one on in-store.
At John Lewis, you’ll get £10 off a purchase of an Oura Ring when you buy an Oura ring sizing kit and the same applies at Amazon.
On the Oura Ring website, you can add a free sizing kit to your basket after you’ve selected what Oura Ring finish and colour you want.
They will ship the sizing kit first that you can use to determine your size.
Once you’re sure what your size is, you will confirm it online in your order and your ring will be sent out.
