1-Day Antarctica Adventure Via Private Jet ($15,950)
White Desert takes 300 guests from Cape Town to the Seventh Continent each year for a spectacular one-day adventure. It is a rare opportunity to experience the location in extreme luxury.
The journey to the Continent is by one of their aircraft (an Airbus A340 or private jet). Traveling in business class, you will join a select group of like-minded explorers flying across the Southern Ocean. During the 5-hour flight, you will cross the Polar Circle, soar over thousands of icebergs, and pass into 24 hours of continuous sunshine to the ultimate destination of the privately managed blue ice Wolf’s Fang Runway. After your arrival (depending on the weather on ice), you will spend 3 hours on the Continent.
You will be offered unique activities with their qualified mountain guides, including visiting Emperor Penguins, trekking into an ice cave nearby, and hiking to a mountain where you will be hosted with a champagne picnic. After that, you will rappel down the side before crossing the glacial ice and back to the Snow Lounge for a final drink before you board your return flight to Cape Town. (from mid-November to early February)
