Paris Fashion Week concludes big 4 fashion weeks

The biannual Paris Fashion Week concluded Oct. 1 after designers displayed their spring and summer 2025 collections, which brought people from all over to the romantic city.

The looks created several viral moments and made many innovations. Here are a few top moments from the week-long event.

Coperni

Coperni’s show gained buzz on social media after being held at Disneyland Paris. The collection collaborated with Disney, and the outfits included nods to various films and characters.

One dress had a bodice shaped like Maleficent’s horns. The collection also included high-quality graphic tees referencing films such as “Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs” (1937) and “Sleeping Beauty” (1959).

The runway concluded with a familiar face as Kylie Jenner walked the runway in a black, elaborate gown. Though the gown was plain, Jenner brought it to life with her powerful runway walk.

Schiaparelli

The Schiaparelli ready-to-wear collection, showcased at the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild, is one for the extroverts. The loud garments say a lot with their intricate construction.

If there was one word to describe the collection, it would be structured. Each piece highlighted the hourglass silhouette, and garments contained boning in the corset pieces and exaggerated shoulders, giving garments texture.

Another Kardashian-Jenner walked the runway during the show. Kendall Jenner wore a structured nude bodysuit and a pair of blue jeans that had a dramatic waistline. Although the look was beautiful, it felt like Jenner was wearing one of the more subtle looks in the collection.

Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton’s runway was made up of branded suitcases, adding an extra element of creativity into the catwalk. Patterns dominated the runway drawing attention to the garments’ details.

Large suit jackets were a common piece of the runway. The jackets had dramatic poofy sleeves extending halfway down the arms. The jackets’ peplum at the waist added an extra 3-dimensional element to the pieces.

The star of the runway was the final three looks which featured art works by Laurent Grasso from his “Studies Into the Past” series. The artwork blends renaissance style with celestial depictions, which fit into the Louis Vuitton collection well.

Balenciaga

Balenciaga is known for its unconventional looks, and the runway only upheld its reputation. The usually masculine brand opened the runway with lingerie, as it is a popular item on the runway this season.

The runway picked up to its usual masculine and baggy style as the show progressed. Loose zip-up bomber jackets and oversized cargo pants often appeared on the catwalk. Muted shades of beige, black and green took over garments.

Another notable detail was every model wearing a variety of sunglasses to pull together the garment. Some shades were normal-looking while others had funky shapes and covered a majority of the eyes.

Overall, PFW was a week to remember as many influential brands took the stage to show memorable looks.
