Help feed the hungry in the community by purchasing a “Passport to Batavia” online or in-person at the Batavia farmers market community tent on Saturday, July 27, from 8 a.m. to noon.

The $25 “Passport” features more than 10 downtown Batavia merchants. A suggested route map and goody bag will be provided for your journey. Each merchant will stamp your Passport and provide a small incentive.

Relax at the end of your shopping day with a wine tasting and some snacks at the Geneva Winery and Tasting Room in Batavia, from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

Shoppers with stamped “Passports” from each merchant they visited will be given a corresponding number of raffle tickets to enter for a chance to win a raffle basket or a Batavia shopping experience, courtesy of the Batavia Chamber of Commerce. The more you shop, the better your chances to win!

Participating Batavia merchants include: Boardwalk Shops, Batavia Chamber of Commerce, CaDo & Co., Fancy Nancy Charcuterie, Farmdog Flowers, Flyleaf Bakery Café, Geneva Winery, Healing Arts Metaphysical Center, Paula’s Couture Consignment, Red Hive Market, Reel Pro Video, Special Occasions, and The Tea Tree Shop.

All proceeds from the $25 “Passport” go to help fill a truck full of food from Northern Illinois Food Bank to feed the hungry in the community.
