PCH offers shopping for charity

PRINCETON, W.Va. (WVVA) -One local hospital is finding a way to help their patients while giving the community a chance to do some shopping…For a good cause.

“Princeton Community Hospital” is enlisting the help of “Masquerade Fundraising” out of Milton, West Virginia.

They are set up in the “Parkview Center’s” atrium at PCH.

There they have all types of items from jewelry and clothing to bags, accessories and more on-sale and the best part, everything is only five dollars.

The proceeds from this charity sale are set to support the PCH’S Foundation’s” “Cancer Care Program.”

The program assists with medication co-pays, travel expenses, hotel accommodation and other costs.

Jerry Gilkerson…The owner of “Masquerade Fundraising” says knowing that they are helping fellow West Virginians is what makes it all worthwhile.

“You know it makes you feel special whenever people actually come up to you and thank you and we get that an awful lot especially from the Princeton people because they are such wonderful people to deal with.”

If you find yourself at Princeton community hospital or are just looking for some good deals Masquerade Fundraising will be set up in the Parkview Center Wednesday from 7am until 1pm.
