Peoria’s Fashion Week audition models unleash their inner fashionista

PEORIA (25News Now) – Models unleashed their inner fashionista on Sunday as they auditioned for Peoria’s Fashion Week.

Peoria’s Fashion Week was created by the CEO Ezra Murry. He decided to use his experience within the model industry and showcase the talent and creativity in Peoria.

About 200 models from youths to adults signed up for the casting call.

Models in the Peoria Fashion Show include Aysha Cayson, crowned Peoria’s Fashion 2023-2024 Teen Face.

Cayson said becoming Peoria’s Fashion Week’s teen face was a way for her to become involved and grow within the community.

“I think it’s just it’s so I can just get more involved like it gave me a lot of opportunities, it took me to New York Fashion Week, and it gives you a lot of opportunities,” said Cayson.

Local and national designers are showcasing their work with different themes, including Gala, fan-favorite Streetwear, and a new theme called paws for posh and more.

Peoria Fashion Week will be held April 2-5th, 2025 at the Four Points by Sheraton Peoria.
