Person found shot at gas station near busy Charlotte shopping center
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A person was found shot and rushed to the hospital from a gas station in southwest Charlotte Tuesday morning.
The person was found around 3:45 a.m. at the Shell on South Tryon Street, right in front of the Ayrsley shopping center and just off of I-485. A group of apartments, hotels and townhomes branches off from the shopping center.
Medic said it took the person to the hospital, but did not provide information on their condition.
More than half a dozen Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police vehicles responded to the gas station to investigate.
The investigation appeared to include a black, four-door sedan.
It is unclear if anyone has been arrested.
