Platteville PD: Suspect arrested following armed robbery at downtown business

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) – The Platteville Police Department arrested a suspect after they allegedly displayed a knife and robbed a downtown business Thursday afternoon.
Around 3:50 p.m., Platteville Police responded to a report from a downtown business of an armed robbery, officials said.
Platteville PD said the suspect went into the business, showed a knife and demanded cash. The suspect then allegedly drove away from the scene.
Officials found the vehicle, conducted a high-risk traffic stop and detained three people. A Jacksonville, Florida resident was arrested and taken to the Grant County Jail.
The suspect was charged with robbery with a great threat of force.
