Pokemon Go Features Costumes In 2025 Fashion Week Event

Pokemon Go is kicking off 2025 in style, as the first Fashion Week event of the year will begin in January, bringing new outfits for both human players and their Pokemon.

Costume Pokemon have a mixed reputation among diehard Pokemon Go fans. On the one hand, they look fantastic and can liven up any Gym they’re placed in. On the other, they usually can’t be sent to Pokemon Home, trapping them in Niantic’s game, which is especially annoying if they’re a Shiny.

The official Pokemon Go website has announced that the 2025 Fashion Week event runs from Friday, January 10, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. This means players must walk fast if they want to nab everything on the catwalk.

Pokemon Go Fashion Week 2025 Event Details

There are a ton of cool freebies that will be available in Pokemon Go’s 2025 Fashion Week, starting with the Event bonuses.

• 2× Stardust from catching Pokémon.
• 2× Chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Kirlia wearing a fashionable costume in the wild.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Butterfree wearing a fashionable costume from Field Research task rewards and raids.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Dragonite wearing a fashionable costume from Field Research task rewards and raids.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Minccino wearing a fashionable costume from Field Research task rewards and raids.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Furfrou from Field Research task rewards and raids.

Cinccino and Minccino wearing fashionable costumes will be debuting during the event, with a chance to encounter a Shiny version of Minccino.

Those players willing to brave the cold weather will have increased chances of encountering the following Pokemon, with all except Bruxish having a chance of being Shiny.
