What Happens If I Collect Multiples?
If you have multiple of the same Pokemon card, you can use them to give your card a visual flair. There’s different stuff to add to your Pokemon to make them shine, like sparkles or images of their type plastered over the card.

How Many Cards Will There Be at Launch?
With the launch of Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, one major expansion will be available: Genetic Apex (A1). And as time goes on, more expansions will be released.

How Do Energy Cards Work in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket?
Probably one of the biggest changes from the physical trading card game, Pocket will make it so players do not have to have a single energy card in their decks. Instead, one Energy can be distributed to the Pokemon you choose each turn.
What’s Wonder Pick?
Essentially, Wonder Pick lets you see a list of other TCG Pocket players who have recently opened card packs. You can scroll through and see the cards they managed to get. You can then randomly get a card from the booster pack you select. You won’t be able to use this feature whenever you want. It’ll require using a combination of currencies: Wonder Stamina, the Wonder Hourglass, and the Rewind Watch.

Is There an Easy Way to Make Decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket?
Not only is there an easy-to-use auto-deck builder in Pocket, but you can also get help from the computer during a battle if you don’t know what to do. And on top of that, there are some rental decks you can try out if you’re feeling adventurous. The auto-build functionality lets you choose an elemental type, like Fire, and if you have enough of those cards, the game will craft a deck for you instantly that features Fire-type Pokemon.
How Do You Win Battles in Pokemon TCG Pocket?
Prize cards do not exist in Pokemon TCG Pocket; instead, to win a battle, you simply need to earn three points by knocking out your opponent’s Pokemon. Regular defeated cards will get you one point, but beating an EX Pokemon will get you two points.
How Much Will It Cost to Open More Packs?
So, there’s a currency called Poke Gold in Pokemon TCG Pocket that allows you to reduce the wait time for opening packs. You need one Gold to reduce the time by two hours, and you can go into the in-game store to buy them (prices start at $1 for 5 Poke Gold). It’s worth noting that you must open your daily packs, or else you won’t gain any more –the free 12-hour packs do not stack.
Is There a Season Pass for Pokemon TCG Pocket?
There is indeed a paid Premium Pass for Pocket that nets players bonus rewards for $9.99 a month. What do you get with this purchase, you might ask? So, you’ll get to open a third pack each day and you can complete special missions to unlock Pokemon cards with unique artwork, as well as coins, sleeves, and playmats. Also, first-time players can get the first two weeks of the Premium Pass for free.
