British rapper M.I.A has released a clothing range which she says will protect wearers from 5G, WiFi, and nanoparticles – which she describes as ‘evil dust’.
The OHMNI line created by the musician, whose real name is Mathangi Arulpragasam, includes a number of garments, among them are t-shirts, boxer shorts and a ‘tin foil hat’, designed to protect wearers from electromagnetic waves.
Prices range from $50 for smaller items like boxers, to $400 for dresses and puffer jackets.
The clothing range, designed by the 48-year-old rapper, who is best known for her tune Paper Planes, is described as ‘your last frontier at preserving your privacy, autonomy, and rights over your body and your data’.
According to What’s The Jam, each item of clothing is made from OHMNI’s original silver street shield textiles.

One of the more talked-about items from the line is the Tin Foil Hat, which claims to protect wearers’ brains and retails for $100
Another item the brand offers is the Protency Fitted Boxer (pictured) which are also made from its silver fabric and retail for $50
It says the brand uses silver due to its electrical conductivity which can help deflect electromagnetic waves from Wi-Fi and 5G.
According to reports, M.I.A first announced the launch while speaking on Infowars, Alex Jones’ conspiracy theory-led show, before sharing more details on Instagram.
During her interview with Alex Jones, she said the clothes are designed to protect people from what she described as ‘evil dust’ (nanoparticles).
OHMNI states that its clothes have up to 99.999 per cent shielding effectiveness against these waves.
Its website says: ‘In the time of smart cities, digital crypto, AI, NeuraLink, hackable humans, zero privacy, deep mind, internal body data harvesting, and indiscriminate tracking surveillance, mind data mining, social media overload, augmented reality, social credit system, virtual dystopian midfield, we bring you the revolutionary future of fashion.
‘OHMNI is your last frontier at preserving your privacy, autonomy, and rights over your body and your data. This is not your artist foray into fashion.’
However, the brand also tackles those who may question whether protective clothing is a necessity.
Its mission statement says: ‘If the conspiracy theorists are wrong, good for you, you own some beautiful clothes made with pure silver and precious metals.

‘But, if they are right, you just might have saved the future of humanity.’
The line, which has already generated much attention, does not mark the musician’s first foray into controversy – in 2022, she was accused of promoting an anti-vax agenda.
After Alex Jones was ordered to pay parents of the children killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting almost $1 billion, M.I.A. mentioned him in a tweet.
She wrote: ‘If Alex Jones pays for lying, shouldn’t every celebrity pushing vaccines pay too?’
However, M.I.A. has also enjoyed considerable success – including being made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to music in 2020.

After being given the prestigious award by Prince William, she said it was a particularly meaningful accolade to receive because her mother once worked hand stitching medals for the palace.
She said: ‘Today I’m accepting this in honour for my mother who worked for minimum wage to give us a better life.
‘As a working class first generation immigrant it’s great to be recognised for my contribution.
‘Having freedom to speak my truth and to do it through music has helped me speak for those who do not have those privileges.
‘I will continue fight for those who are silenced or persecuted by others.’
