READING, Pa. – People in Downtown Reading gathered to light up the night for the 2nd annual Glow Block Party.
Lights, food, music and fitness were the centers of attention on Saturday night.
The Glow Block Party partnered with Nemesis Fitness’ Glow Run, a community fun-run.
Runners and non-runners alike could take part in the 5k, and we got to ask some of them why they run.
“I do it purposefully for myself and for my kids, cause I want to show them a better example,” said Kimberly Rosario, a glow runner. “I was overweight two years ago, and I just continue to want better for myself to show them you can do it.”
Of course , if you didn’t want to do the 5k, there was still live music, food, and fun for all to enjoy.
