Record breaking travel predicted this holiday season
LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – AAA predicts record-breaking travel from Thursday until Jan. 2.
“The roads will be really really busy over the next week or so surrounding the holidays with a lot of that travel… has already begun,” said Adrienne Woodland with AAA.
Woodland says to make sure you leave in enough time and that will stop you from rushing on the roads.
And if you’re flying:
“Airports will be really really busy. We’re encouraging everyone that you arrive at the airport 2 to 3 hours before your departure time, definitely check-in online, check your flight status via the air carrier’s online app,” said Woodland.
