Emma Watson’s gin brand, Renais, has partnered with Italian fashion label Del Toro to create a unisex apparel and accessory range.

Inspired by Renais’ family values, the colourful fashion range is said to be a celebration of the brand’s ‘joie de vivre’, and showcases the ‘crème de la crème of Renais’ style with simple yet luxurious designs that are ready to wear’.

The collection, which features jackets, cardigans, hats and socks, marks the first time Del Toro has sold its pieces in the UK, having ‘existed quietly’ in Italy for nearly 20 years.

The Watson family’s background in winemaking is said to have been married with Del Toro’s history of multigenerational artisans, and its aim to celebrate family, friendship and togetherness.

Renais co-founder Alex Watson commented: “By merging two genuine, storied brands, we are creating an apparel collection that is more than just co-branded merchandise: we are speaking to people who truly value artisanship and style.”

The limited edition range includes cord caps (£35/US$45), a trio of sweatshirts (£105), a cocktail coat ‘for the at-home bartender’ (£250/US$324), and a cardigan, which features stripes in the Renais brand colours (£165/US$214).

Each product is hand designed, hand sourced, and handmade in small batches by Del Toro’s family of artisans throughout Italy.

The exclusive pieces are now live on the Renais website.

In episode eight of The Spirits Business Podcast, Alex Watson shared how family, terroir and sustainability played crucial roles in designing the gin brand.

Renais entered the US market in July this year. To celebrate the expansion, Renais released an extended director’s cut campaign video directed and styled by Emma Watson.

The brand also released limited edition bottles with artwork designed by the Harry Potter actor, which retailed on the brand’s website for £60 (US$75).
