Report: Michigan among top five states for creating and implementing clean energy jobs

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – A recent report finds that Michigan is among the top five states in the country for creating and implementing clean energy jobs and projects.

That report comes from 5 Lakes Energy. It said Michigan attracted 62 major clean energy projects, created over 20,000 jobs, and received over $26 billion in new investments.

In 2023, Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed multiple clean energy policies.
