Rigby’s Entertainment Complex offering shelter during Hurricane Helene

Rigby’s Entertainment Complex is offering the public shelter from the storm as Hurricane Helene makes its way up the East Coast Thursday and Friday.

Owner Steve Rigby made the announcement on Facebook Thursday and said the complex is being offered as a safe structure “for those that may not feel safe in their homes.”

“If you are unsure of your safety plan please do not hesitate to include Rigby’s as a safe structure during inclement and severe weather,” the post read.

Fur babies are also welcome and owners are asked to bring a crate if they believe they are aggressive or afraid of storms.

“We do not want them to run off if there is thunder,” Rigby’s explained.

Guests should bring their own pillows, blankets and comfort items to settle in.

Officials added that the Warner Robins Police Department is aware of the shelter location.

Other shelters opening in the Central Georgia area can be found here.
