Rihanna Reveals What Her “Hypocritical” Fashion Don’ts Are Now That She’s A Mom

Fashion empress and global superstar, Rihanna, reflected on couture moments from her past that now give her “the ick” as a mother of two.

Wearing an oversized tailored ensemble, blonde tresses, and a red lip (of course, courtesy of Fenty), Rih spoke with Vogue this week at the Tobacco Dock launch of Fenty X Puma’s latest Creeper. While on the carpet, the billionaire boss woman admitted to nipple rings and exposing her panties as a thing of the past.

“I’ve done so much sh*t in my life,” she began. “I’ve had my nipples out, my panties out. But now, those are the things which, I guess as a mum and an evolved young lady — emphasis on young — there are things I feel like I would never do. Like, ‘Oh my God, I really did that? Nips out?’”

Speaking to her proudest fashion moments, the 36-year-old Bajan beauty shared her 2014 and 2015 Met Gala red carpet looks, and a tasteful after-party dress created for her by Stella McCartney years ago.

“Nobody will ever forget that and I will never forget the feeling of discovering that designer based off of the design challenge that Anna [Wintour] gave me,” she spoke of the regal canary yellow gown with gold accents and expounded train in 2015.

“And damn! You know what, no one would ever expect this, but there’s also the Stella McCartney crop top and skirt, and the party dress that she made me for that same [Met Gala] with my little a** crack out,” she added.

While speaking with British Vogue last year, Rihanna compared some of her unreleased music to wearing old clothes.

“[It’s] almost like trying to dress like you used to dress,” she began. “It’s like, ‘Ew, no. I would never wear those again.’ Your taste changes, your vibe changes.”
