Rihanna Wears Two Showstopping Runway Looks Back-To-Back

With fashion month coming to a close this fall and wrapping up the year of many major runways, it’s no surprise that we should be seeing those looks on red carpets and on A-listers. But just days after Paris Fashion Week wrapped up, Rihanna was seen wearing not one, but TWO iconic looks from the runway.

The singer and Fenty Beauty founder was photographed throughout New York City this week, alongside her partner and father to their two children, A$AP Rocky. Rihanna has become synonymous with high fashion, even when she’s appearing to “dress down” — if that’s even in her vocabulary.

In one photo, Rihanna is shown wearing a more casual look fit for strolling the streets of New York — except in designer clothes. The musician wore head-to-toe Bottega Veneta in the brand’s laid-back jersey rib tank top and leather boxers and carried a medium sardine bag. But the main star of the outfit was, of course, the coat. The patchwork jacket hung off of her one shoulder and extended down to her ankles. The faux fur comes from Bottega’s fall/ winter 2024 collection that was showcased on the runway during Milan Fashion Week this past February.

Rihanna’s glam was kept simple with a glossed lip and hair pulled back into a loose updo.

The second look Rihanna graced photographers with was a total showstopper. In honor of A$AP Rocky’s birthday — which was October 3 — RiRi held nothing back as she reached into her closet for yet another runway look.

The evening’s dress comes from LaQuan Smith’s Spring 2025 collection which debuted at New York Fashion Week last month. From a model to a superstar like Rihanna, the black spandex dress looked like it was made for her. The cutout details and plunging neckline gave the dress a sexy allure, while Rihanna completed the look with a dramatic side part, dark sunglasses, and silver heels.

The evening out with A$AP wouldn’t be complete if he wasn’t also dressed the the nines. The rapper wore all Bottega Veneta, which makes sense as he is an ambassador for the brand. Wearing a tweed suit with a gingham coat from the brand, he also carried the leather shopping bag from their summer 2025 collection.
