Robert Zemeckis’ “Here” will have its world premiere at the AFI Film Festival on October 25. It is being screened there as the festival’s Centerpiece selection. There’s been lots of buzz for this film, which tested very well late last year, and had a trailer released in June.

Sony has given the 104-minute film what THR called, “a prime awards-season spot on the theatrical calendar” on November 1. Zemeckis’ vast filmography includes the likes of “Back to the Future,” “Who Framed Roger Rabbit,” “Forrest Gump,” “Contact” and “Cast Away.”
